The Research Associate Program facilitates independent research by Central Texas citizens whose personal research projects require access to University resources. Research Associates receive a UT EID for access to library materials and databases and are invited to regular gatherings of fellow Associates, Community Sabbatical participants, and UT faculty. The Institute sponsors up to ten annually appointed Research Associates. Associates' biographies and descriptions of their research projects are posted on the Humanities Institute website.
